Does my child have to be potty trained before they start at Busy Lizzies Preschool?
No. All we ask is that nappies/pull ups and wipes for your child are provided by you.

I am worried my child will not settle, what happens if they cry when I leave?
Each child is different. We have a welcome meeting so each child has seen the Preschool and met their Key Person and friends. Most children settle quickly, and within a few minutes are engaged in an activity. Your Key Person will work with you to ensure your child settles and is happy. We will ring you after you have left if your child is upset to update you on their progress.

My child has allergies, how will this be dealt with?
We have dealt with children who have different allergies ranging from mild to severe. At the welcome meeting we fill in a medical form and this is relayed to all staff. All of our Key Persons are Paediatric First Aiders and attend a 12 hour course every 3 years.

Is there a Uniform at Busy Lizzies Preschool?
No, we do ask that children wear soft shoes (no heavy boots and please no laces). If your child has wellies on please change them into plimsoles/soft shoes at drop off.

I have no cheque book! How can I pay?
You can pay by Cash, Bank transfer, or by vouchers. We accept all voucher payments; please contact Liz for full details as these may have to be set up in advance. Our Bank Account Number is 28758383, Sort Code: 09-01-29, please use your child’s name as a reference when paying by bank transfer.

I’m running late.
We have a mobile number for use in the setting only. This is included in your welcome pack.

My Child is poorly and won’t be attending.
Please text /call the setting and advise that your child will not be attending.
